We work with each client to determine their evaluation needs, budget, and timeline and the methodological approach for providing the information they are interested in. Because it is rare that a single methodology can address the complexities of a program, we specialize in mixed-methods designs, integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches to theory, data collection, and analysis.
We are experienced with managing projects from start to finish. We work closely with clients from the onset to make sure the proposed design will address their needs and address their questions. We work to inform clients of progress and challenges during the implementation process and to gather feedback during the analysis and reporting stages.
Our goal is to use measurement tools that will effectively answer the questions outlined in the evaluation plan. We assess the best method for collecting the data and review available instruments to identify whether validated measures exist for the constructs of interest. We search, select, and formulate questions that capture the constructs we intend to measure. We perform pilot tests and adapt instruments where needed.
We manage the setup of any data we collect and prepare the data for analysis. Programs often have more data than they know what do with. We can help assess how data can be restructured and synthesized to maximize the use of existing data and prepare the data so that it can be easily analyzed.
Our analysis plan is built into the conceptualization of the evaluation design. We use a variety of analytic methods from simple to complex that are aligned with the questions we are answering.
Most projects end in a report or presentation. We work with the client to determine what type of report best meets their needs. We offer anything from 1 or 2-page infographics or briefs to lengthy descriptive reports. We can also develop PowerPoint presentations for clients to share.
